GLP-1 recipe nutrition data
The calculated nutrition for all 203 published foodose recipes, per serving, in one table. Every ingredient is listed with the USDA FoodData Central record its numbers come from, so any figure can be checked back to its source. Download it, check it, and cite it.

What the data shows
- Recipes
- 203
- Median energy
- 396 kcal
- Median protein
- 31 g
- Median fibre
- 6 g
- The median recipe gives 396 kcal and 31 g of protein a serving, with protein supplying 29% of its energy.
- 39 of the 203 recipes have at least 30 g of protein in 400 kcal or less.
- The 32 vegan recipes have a median of 30 g of protein a serving, against 22 g for the 74 that are vegetarian but not vegan.
- The vegan recipes have the most fibre, a median of 10 g a serving.
- Sugars could not be calculated for 48 recipes, and sodium could not be calculated for 10 recipes, because a source record does not cover it. Those cells are empty rather than zero.
| Diet | Recipes | Energy | Protein | Fibre | Protein share of energy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vegan | 32 | 443 kcal | 30 g | 10 g | 26% |
| Vegetarian, not vegan | 74 | 376 kcal | 22 g | 6 g | 23% |
| Not vegetarian | 97 | 403 kcal | 36 g | 5 g | 35% |
| All recipes | 203 | 396 kcal | 31 g | 6 g | 29% |
“Not vegetarian” includes 2 dishes with no meat or fish, because the only non-vegetarian ingredient is a cheese traditionally made with animal rennet.

Both files are UTF-8, comma separated, with a header row. An empty cell means a value is unknown or does not apply. It never means zero.
How the figures were calculated
- Each ingredient's weight is multiplied by its USDA FoodData Central values per 100 g. The recipe is added up and divided by its servings.
- The whole meal is counted, including the oil in the pan, which is all counted as eaten.
- Meat, fish and vegetables use raw weights and raw values. Tinned beans use drained weights.
- A nutrient missing from any one record is left uncalculated for the whole recipe, because summing the rest would give a number that looks complete and is not.
- Ingredients too small to matter with no reliable record, such as a pinch of spice, are excluded and the most they could add is recorded.
- Salt added to taste is not counted in sodium.
The full rules, and the food-safety sources behind each method, are in how we develop our recipes. Every figure in the files is the same one printed on the recipe’s own page, calculated by the same code, before the page rounds it for display.
What these figures are not
They are calculations, not laboratory analysis. The recipes have been checked on paper and not yet cooked, so times are estimates and yields have not been confirmed. Real food varies by brand, season and how long something cooks. Where a recipe calls for a packaged product such as stock or bread, the label in your hand is the better guide to its sodium and allergens. The data describes recipes. It does not tell anyone what they should eat, and it is not medical advice.
